"Very healthy grapes and a growing production"

These were the words of Mrs. Ágeda del Val, Technical Director of the DO Cigales to El Norte de Castilla:

"The main defining feature of the Cigales’ vintage, which yesterday reached 65% of the total harvest, is the «extraordinary grape’s quality». Del Val said that, even though the ripening was uneven due to the dry weather and the hot temperatures in summer, the sugar concentration is very remarkable. Moreover, the production is growing this year".
